Natalie’s Story

Hello my name is Natalie Denise Chandler… 61 years young.

I've worked within the Cincinnati Public School system for over 30 years. My position, Disciplinary Administrative Assistant, provides me the opportunity to reach students daily ,teaching corrective strategies with their behavior.

I'm the proud mother two beautiful daughters , five incredible grandchildren and two amazing son-in-laws.

Losing my mother in 2020 and suffering total heart failure in 2021 has changed my life. I was also diagnosed with the possibility of Blood Cancer. Faith, fasting and prayer with my beautiful family brought me out the other side clear of any cancer to The Wonder of my doctors. My doctor's ordered more tests even a biopsy of my heart... what was seen on the scan months prior.. GONE🙏🏾♥️ Total heart failure left me with a pacemaker which has actually changed my life for the better. Giving me the prognosis of a longer life span. PRAISE GOD!!

My beautiful mother Geneva Ballard Small gained her wings on September 3rd 2020 this was the most gut-wrenching pain that I have ever felt in my life. I had to take a deep breath as reality and acceptance became part of my life. These events brought me closer to God and my purpose in Christ. CHANGING my identity, gave a deeper understanding of Natalie. THOUGH I WAS FEARFUL OF WHO I WOULD BECOME NEXT I WAS REMINDED THAT IN THE END I WILL BE MADE GREAT WITH GOD.

My mind is clear now through prayer and meditation I receive direction from God daily. The ability to look at situations from the perspective of seeing God's blessings in the moment. I'm excited and look forward to this closer walk with the Lord.
